Partners to the end…James Rogan and Ray Kremer were the equivalent of Laurel and Hardy in the world of radio. As partners they provided sound effects for many of CBS’ radio shows – including The Mercury Theater on the Air. Being teamed up with Ora Nichols certainly guaranteed frightening realism during The War of the Worlds. Their many accomplishments include the artillery attack against the Martian tripods
