AUDITIONS – War of the Worlds!

Legion Fantastique and The Castro Theatre Present….

The 70th Anniversary Broadcast

(A re-enactment of Orson Welles’ classic radio drama)

October 29, 2008

In order to help raise funds for our show at the Dickens Christmas Fair, Legion Fantastiquewill be presenting, in conjunction with San Francisco’s Castro Theatre, a performance/re-enactment of the Mercury Theater on the Air’s presentation of H.G.Wells’ “The War of the Worlds”.

The live show will be roughly an hour (with some interactive improvisation as guests arrive), and then will be followed by a screening of George Pal’s 1953 movie “War of the Worlds”.

We are looking for vocal, energetic, charismatic actors based in the San Francisco Bay Area who will portray the various actors (and their “on-air” roles) who participated in the infamous broadcast.
